Google Maps app got the new update for Android users with some new changes and new features to make the app use more and more easy. Here is the full hands-on of the update.

Here is the official change-log of the update:

• See your future events and reservations in an "Upcoming" tab in Your Places


• Food and drink photos are shown for a business’s place details and photo gallery
• Reduce data bandwidth for place details for 2G and 3G networks

I found all above listed new features in the update. I have installed this update on my Nexus 6p.
