How To Charge Your Android Battery Faster
Nowadays when you keep your phone on charge you might be charging it for some hours until it gets charged, approx 1 to 1.30 hours. Then you use your mobile, what battery backup it gives you? My Nexus gives me 3 hours on screen. Even you might be getting the same.
Might this is just because I am using stock ROM. I have tried changing many ROM and custom Kernels but didn’t found anything working.
Today I am going to share with you the best guide which you can follow up and you can charge your mobile faster. In this guide, I won’t be teaching you about how to fast charge your mobile even I will be showing you best guides from which you can solve your phone heating issues while its on charging.
#1 Use Airplane Mode While Charging Your Device
You might be knowing about the Airplane mode in this you can save up your time of charging about 40%. When your phone is on Airplane Mode it will close all the signals of your cellular calls and you won’t get any calls on your device. This is the best way you can save your battery charging time.
Basically when your phone is on charge it consume battery and that consumption is high because of the background data app processes. So you can try this method and fasten your mobile charging speed.
#2 Turn Off Your Phone During Charge
Most of time while switching off your phone and then charging your phone is very effective. Because there is no running application in background and it will fasten your phone charging. This is the best guide you can follow up for charging your phone faster.
#3 Turn OFF Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Mobile Data
Actually Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Mobile Data consumes more battery. It is better to switch off your Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Mobile Data it will save up your device charging and it will help you to fasten your phone charging speed. If you don’t have to put your phone on flight mode then you can try this method.
#4 Use Original Charge Adopter And Data Cable
This is important because most of the times people uses the charger which is not manufactured by the manufacturer of your device. This Charger Adapter and Data Cable is specially designed for your mobile phones so it is better to use your original charger adapter for best charging results.
#5 Never Use Your Phone On Charge
We have seen many times and many images about mobile phones are getting explode during charge. So it is right if your device is really getting hot then i will suggest you to switch off your device and wait for sometimes and never play games or check video while your phone is on charge. If youve got fastboot and the fastboot drivers installed on your PC, connect your phone in fastboot mode, open command prompt, type "fastboot reboot" (without quotation marks), and it will turn on. You can do this after about 10-15 mins of it charging from the computer.
The next thing is to try is to plug your phone into the charger in case the battery is depleted. Some phones may even switch on this way but its unlikely so try long pressing the volume buttons in case a boot menu appears.
There are various things you can do to wake up your phone without using the power button. Try simply plugging it into a charger or getting someone to ring you.
The Xperia M has a physical camera button, use this to launch the camera app then quit out.
For Rooted users, there is another way (The BEST way)... Change Power button to Volume button permanently! Open a root browser/ADB, then go system/usr/keylayout. There should be a file like mtk-kpd.kl (The file name varies from device to device, but it normally ends with -kpd.kl/-keypad.kl).
Change the power button to volume button there. For more information, search on XDA-Developers.
ADB doesnt work if phone is switched off (Doesnt matter if battery has charge), even if Debugging is enabled
