 Add pages to your blog

You can create pages for consistent content like “About” or “Contact.” Pages can appear on your blog as tabs at the top or links on the side.

Note: You cannot use specific posts as pages.




Add a page

1. Show your pages


    Sign in to Blogger.
    Select the blog to update.
    In the left menu, click Layout.
    In the section you want your pages to show, click Add a Gadget.
    In the window that appears, next to Pages, click Add .
    Set your settings and click Save.
    At the top right, click Save arrangement.

To change where your pages will appear, drag the gadget to its new location.



2. Create, edit, or delete pages

Create a page

    Sign in to Blogger.
    Select the blog to update.

    In the left menu, select Pages.

    Click New Page.


    Add a page title and other information.
    Click Save, Preview, or Publish.





 
To edit a page:

    Follow steps 1 and 2 above.
    Under the page you want to edit, click Edit.
    Make updates to your page.
    Click Save, Preview, or Publish.

 

To delete a page:

In Pages, under the page you want to remove, click Delete > OK.
Create a page that links to another website

    From the Blogger dashboard, click the blog you want to update.
    In the left menu, click Layout.
    In the "Pages" section, click Edit.
    In the window that appears, click Add external link.
    Add the page title and URL.
    Click Save Link.

 

To delete a page:

    Follow steps 1–3 above.
    In the page to delete, click Remove

 

3. Select the pages to show

    In the left menu, click Layout.
    In the “Pages” section, click Edit.
    Select the page you wish to show.
    Click Save.
    At the top right, click Save arrangement.

There is no limit to the number of pages you can have on one blog.

Now today we are going to focus on link, how to put a link in your website,
and as i told you before the link code or tag is <a></a> but i know i did not make it clear to you beginners, but today our tutorials will move forward to link.

HOW TO INSERT A LINK?
whenever we are going to have a link tag we have to surround it with <a></a> tag which is stand for link, and there is something we need to understand inside a link tag you must provide hyper link reference which is href="" Example;.  <a href="example.com">your text that you want it to be a link<a/>




that is how you are going to link a webpage to your website, <a href="">. let me explain the way you will understand, a is stand for link tag then if you provide a link tag you need to explain to your browser the reference link you want link that is the reason of hyper link reference href now you put hyperlink reference, you have to tell your browser what was that means that is = so anything between "here" you are telling your browser that this is your link to your text or what ever, because you can make a photo as a link or tables rows, etc.

Now let us take an examples inside your body create a header1 and header2 let us make header2 link to my website;

HOW TO LINK A LINK IN THE SAME PAGE?


Sound like funny do not be confuse of this, the main reason for creating a link in the same webpage is that, it will allow your visitors to navigate between your content easily, in examples if you have a long website content, you know its difficult to some to scroll down down down until they reach what they want, but all you have to do is to create content or a list of your content and make them a link to the specific location.
let me give you an example;

For example if your website is all about Novels

Now in order to create a link to each an every story you need a link tag which is
<a href=""></a> Now there is differences between the link you want it to be in you web section and the link of other website href stand for hyper link reference, so in this case you do not need href your code will look like this; <a name=""></a> the name of the headline you want target as a link, you do not need to write anything between <a name="">here</a>.
