NEWS AND RUMORS SAMSUNG GALAXY X COMING IN 2017

NEWS AND RUMORS SAMSUNG GALAXY X COMING IN 2017

SAMSUNG GALAXY X COMING IN 2017

Samsung Galaxy X Release Date, News and Rumors: Samsung Galaxy X coming in 2017?

SAMSUNG GALAXY X COMING IN 2017

Samsung will launch as many as FIVE new Galaxy flagships in 2017. Well folks this could be it - 2017 may well be the year we first see a smartphone with a truly flexible OLED display, and not just in the "its a bit bendy" LG G Flex style either.

Nope, according to some very robust rumours out of Asia Samsung will release a new Galaxy-branded smartphone flagship next year which will be fully foldable, just like the old flip-phones of the 90s, except itll fold right down the middle of the touch display with no impact on image quality. This handset, its alleged, will be one of FIVE flagship smartphones Samsung plans to launch inside 2017, and itll be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy X if the tipster sources prove correct.

SAMSUNG GALAXY X COMING IN 2017

The word comes via often reliable source of accurate Samsung details - SamMobile - a site with plenty of insiders lurking within Samsung itself, inside its home nation of Korea. The word emerged on May 13, with a report stating that the firm, following up on its incredible performance in Q1 2016 with the Galaxy S7 series, will push out a grand total of FIVE Galaxy flagship models in 2017. In addition, the report claims that amongst the devices will be a new model dubbed the Samsung Galaxy X, which will utilise the firms flexible Super AMOLED technology, but unlike the Galaxy S7 edge with a fixed curved screen it will be the first folding smartphone with a truly flexible OLED setup.

As of May 25 we now have some more evidence that Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy X next year. The firm has exhibited its flexible Super AMOLED technology at the SID 2016 expo, a dedicated display industry conference in San Francisco, and its clear that this prototype is in a much more advanced state than any weve seen before - it almost looks production ready.

Finally Nokia Coming back in Mobile Industry with HMD Global

Finally, Nokia Coming back in Mobile Industry with HMD Global

Finally, Nokia Coming back in Mobile Industry with HMD Global

Finally, Nokia Coming back in Mobile Industry with HMD Global

Nokia, is not just a brand in smartphone industry. Its the heart of smartphone industry. Nokia was once a synonyms of mobile. Whenever people in India went outside to shop for a mobile, they never asked the shopkeeper to show them Mobile, instead they used to ask for Nokia. Nokia was the brand which was present in almost everyone’s pocket be it a middleman or a rich person. It was a status symbol holding Nokia mobiles. But things changed when Android came in the market and Nokia’s stiff decision not to adopt Android resulted into a disastrous sold of the company and the brand Nokia few years ago. A market leader in mobile industry was thrown out from its own market. A company that created a mobile revolution was no where in the market.

Finally, Nokia Coming back in Mobile Industry with HMD Global

But things are changing now. According to Nokia press release held on 18 May, 2016 , Nokia has signed a strategic brand and intellectual property licensing agreement with HMD* global from Finland. As per the signed deal, HMD global will be able to make and sell smartphone and tablets which has Nokia branding on it. This simply means that the once forgotten brand in mobile industry will be seen soon. The Nokia brand will return in mobile and tablet market globally. In return, HMD global will pay royalty against using the brand name and intellectual property rights.

(*HMD global is a new company based in Finland)

Way back on Jan, 2016, Tekz24 informed our viewers about Nokia is searching partner for its Upcoming Phone with Its ( world-class partner ) in 2016 and finally time has came when Nokia announced that HMD will be given rights to use its Nokia brand for selling the new mobiles.

To recall, Microsoft bought Nokia when Nokia failed to stand in the mobile industry. But Microsoft too failed to bring back Nokia from red loss making figures. The Microsoft deal with Nokia is expected to end in 2nd half of 2016 after which Nokia can re-enter in mobile industry with its name. But instead of manufacturing feature phones, smartphones and tablets by its own, Nokia has given rights to HMD to use its Nokia branding in its mobile. As per HMD global, it is expected to invest a total of over USD 500 million over the next 3 years. The invested amount will go towards rebuilding the Nokia brand by way of marketing.

Nokia will not invest in HMD, instead it will just give its branding rights and some patent licenses for cellular standards against the royalty. HMD will get helps from Nokia Technologies. Nokia Technologies will be present in HMD’s Board of Directors for helping it setting brand requirements and meeting customer expectations for Nokia devices. It will help in maintaining the Nokia quality, R&D and its design.

Ramzi Haidamus, president of Nokia Technologies, said:

“Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Nokia brand in an industry where Nokia remains a truly iconic name. Instead of Nokia returning to manufacturing mobile phones itself, HMD plans to produce mobile phones and tablets that can leverage and grow the value of the Nokia brand in global markets. Working with HMD and FIH will let us participate in one of the largest consumer electronics markets in the world while staying true to our licensing business model.”
