now the lg-p920 power button as show on the picture below is indicating you how to fix and repair faulty power button, if you look of the switch
very careful you will notices that the flex that connect the power button and the printed circuit board (PCB) is too short and easy to brake,





Now do not disturb your self trying to trace where the faulty is, just make a jumper from Right leg which is positive to those two resistors,
and then slot your battery and hit the power button. Wow this is unbelievable!! your smartphone now is working..../

If this did not helps you solve your problems, what you have to do next is to change those two resistors or replace with working one, if you tried this, still getting error just remove the both resistors and bridge them, and take a jumper as shown on the picture above,

I an very sure if thats the problem you are OK with that, if you pass the all steps still getting error, which is not a power button problem.


let me take you step by step on how to fix it
1. use your airgun normally called rework station or blower apply soldering past set your rework station like this; Air 5.6 and then hot 3.4, if you are using digital rework station hit the circuit board carefully and then let it become cool and insert a battery and power it again.

2. use any cleaning materials and clean the all circuit board area carefully, let it dry and try again.

3. replace the power IC.

4. replace Ram or Flashing IC.

If your tried to all process but your problem never solve that is to say GOODBY to your phone, the phone completely dead.

If youve got fastboot and the fastboot drivers installed on your PC, connect your phone in fastboot mode, open command prompt, type "fastboot reboot" (without quotation marks), and it will turn on. You can do this after about 10-15 mins of it charging from the computer.

The next thing is to try is to plug your phone into the charger in case the battery is depleted. Some phones may even switch on this way but its unlikely so try long pressing the volume buttons in case a boot menu appears.

There are various things you can do to wake up your phone without using the power button. Try simply plugging it into a charger or getting someone to ring you.

The Xperia M  has a physical camera button, use this to launch the camera app then quit out.
For Rooted users, there is another way (The BEST way)... Change Power button to Volume button permanently! Open a root browser/ADB, then go system/usr/keylayout. There should be a file like mtk-kpd.kl (The file name varies from device to device, but it normally ends with -kpd.kl/-keypad.kl).

Change the power button to volume button there. For more information, search on XDA-Developers.
ADB doesnt work if phone is switched off (Doesnt matter if battery has charge), even if Debugging is enabled
