How To Download or Backup Your Facebook Account Data Before Deleting or Deactivating Permanently?

Step-1. First of all login to your Facebook account and go to Setting. Click on the option that is given in the end "Download a copy of your Facebook data".



Step-2. You will redirect to a new page. Click on "Start My Archive".


Step-3. A pop-up window will appear. Click on "Start My Archive".



Now Facebook will create a copy of your account data and will send to your email that is linked to your Facebook account. You can download your account data from your email.

How To Deactivate Facebook Account Temporarily?

Step-1. Login to your account and go to Setting.
Step-2. Click on "Security" and then click on "Deactivate your account".


Step-3. Now just select the options and click on "Deactivate"

Now your account is successfully deactivated. You can re-activate your account just by login to your account details. You can also select automatic re-activation option in the end.

But if you want to delete your account permanently, then you can follow the below steps.

How To Permanently Delete Your Facebook Account?

Step-1. To permanently delete your account, you have to go to their help form -- Delete Account.


Step-2. Click on "Delete my account".


Step-3. You will redirect to page where Facebook will ask your password and you have to Enter Captcha and click on "OK"


Now you have successfully deleted your Facebook account. You cant recover your account if you had deleted your account permanently.
